Jenkins and Pain Kent's Premiere Accident Repair Centre

Quality & Safety

Our Quality and Safety Standards

IIn the event of an accident you need to know that your vehicle will react in the way it was designed and not be a potential threat to you or your passenger’s safety. A poorly repaired vehicle can collapse around you and seriously injure the occupants. Jenkins & Pain have a long history of quality workmanship and an excellent reputation locally and regionally.

Traditional Care and Attention

Jenkins & Pain have a long history of quality workmanship and an excellent reputation locally and regionally. We were the first bodyshop in Kent to embrace the British Standard Kitemark in Vehicle Damage Repair. The Kitemark is a trusted accolade demonstrating that every precaution has been taken to ensure a safe and high quality repair. Only around 25% of British body repairers are Kitemark approved.

Modern vehicles are very complex in construction and many different techniques, tools and specialist equipment is required to safeguard the integrity and safe repair of your car. After your vehicle has undergone accident repairs you need the reassurance that the welding, brazing, bonding, etc. has been carried out correctly using defined manufacturers techniques and specifications.

Investment in Staff

Our professional standards include sending technicians on industry recognised training courses and assessments to ensure that your vehicle is repaired in every area to highest possible safety standards. Our assessors are also fully qualified and trained to the industry recognised Vehicle Damage Assessor ATA qualification. This provides confidence that our assessors are up to date with safe repair techniques to repair you vehicle.

Investment in Equipment

We have invested in the most modern and effective equipment available on the market to return your vehicle back to the manufacturers specifications.

Our recently purchased steering geometry equipment (at an investment of over £40,000) measures all of the critical angles required to ensure that your vehicle pulls up safely in an emergency and at the same time minimise tyre wear.

Most bodyshops will assess your vehicle and its damage in the car park. At Jenkins & Pain we have a purpose built assessment bay for 2 vehicles with in-floor hoist, tools and all the required facilities to ensure we can carry out an accurate and in depth assessment.

Genuine Parts

At Jenkins & Pain we only fit safety approved or genuine parts to your vehicle. Always double check that your chosen body shop will use genuine parts and not fake or second hand parts which can be a very common practice.

What is the Kitemark?

The Kitemark is a registered certification mark owned and awarded by BSI and originally developed by the British Standards Institution. It is a globally recognised symbol of quality, your confirmation that vital safety and performance requirements have been met on a product or service.
